LEES 2027 - Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The Low-Energy Electrodynamics in Solids 2027 conference will be held in Amsterdam, 20 - 25 June, 2027

Hotel Casa, Amsterdam

Scope

LEES 2027 ("Low-Energy Electrodynamics in Solids") is a forum for the interdisciplinary research on low-energy (microwave, terahertz, infrared) electrodynamics of quantum materials. The conference covers topics ranging from novel instrumentation to developments in the understanding of low energy excitations associated with exotic phases of matter. Experimental methods covered include broadband, time-resolved, near-field optical and electron spectroscopies.

This conference will be the 17th LEES meeting and follows the highly successful workshops at Bad Honnef (1993), Trest (1995), Ascona (1997), Pecs (1999), Montauk (2002), Kloster Banz (2004), Tallinn (2006), Vancouver-Whistler (2008), Les Diablerets (2010), Napa Valley (2012), Loire Valley (2014), Lake Biwako (2016), Portonovo (2018), and Portland (2021, online), Sankt Pölten (2023) and Haeundae (2025).
